| We were looking for a beautiful, strong image to
use in our banner, something fun and distinctive to
"The" Dive Shop. There were a lot of really wonderful
shots that we considered, but nothing had quite the
right feel for such a central element to our web site.
But when Len Clark came back from the September 2006
Galapagos trip with this image, we knew right away that
this was the one. The shot itself is truly amazing, and
that fact that it was from one of our trips and by the
trip leader made it perfect for our purposes.
If you like the shot half as much as we do, you might
enjoy seeing it and some others in a Galapagos Whale
Shark Gallery, which will be coming soon. But for now

Of course, just because this is the story so far
doesn't mean that we won't let this story grow over
time... that's what good stories do, right?
