This course examines the use of EAN-21 through one hundred (100) percent oxygen for optimal mixes to a depth of forty (40) msw / one hundred thirty (130) fsw. The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for utilizing EAN-21 through one hundred (100) percent oxygen for dives not requiring staged decompression.
This course is taught in conjunction with the TDI Decompression Procedures course. |

This course examines the theory, methods and procedures of planned stage decompression diving. The objective of this course is to train divers how to plan and conduct a standard staged decompression dive not exceeding a maximum depth of forty five (45) msw / one hundred fifty (150) fsw. The most common equipment requirements, gear set-up, and decompression techniques are presented. Students will utilize Enriched Air Nitrox mixes for decompression throughout the course.
This course is taught in conjunction with the TDI Advanced Nitrox course. |
| Pre-requisites |
|
The student must be a minimum of 18 years of age
The student must hold a minimum certification of Advanced Diver and Nitrox Diver.
Proof of 50 open water dives outside of training. |

Doubles or high capacity single cylinders with H-valve
Stage/Deco cylinder with a minimum capacity of 20 cuft
Three regulator systems (two primaries and one for deco)
Lift bag with minimum 25lbs of lift Ascent reel with minimum 200ft of line
Underwater Slate
Backup Mask
NOTE: because of the diver specific nature of the required equipment for this course prospective students should contact “The” Dive Shop and arrange to meet with the instructor and a member of the sales team |
