Divemaster
Divemaster is the first professional
level offered by PADI. Divemasters act as teaching
assistants and dive leaders and are integral to the diver training programs
offered at "The" Dive Shop. This program is most commonly enhanced
with an Assistant Instructor program.
The function of the Divemaster course is to develop the
candidate's knowledge and diving skill to an instructor level. "The"
Dive Shop offers this program on a group basis each spring and fall. Special
privatized programs for individuals can be offered year round.
All candidates for the Divemaster program being taught at TDS
must meet with the one of our training advisors prior to enrolling in the program, in
order to fully understand additional requirements of the Divemaster Program. It is
important that no candidate enroll in a professional level training program with
misguided expectations.
