The Infamous Chilly Willy

During the cooler (let's be honest, colder) months, "The" Dive Shop arranges to open the Lake at Millbrook once a month for a weekend afternoon dive. The gate will be open from 10 AM until 10:30 AM to allow PRE-REGISTERED divers access for a local dive. Please plan your dives so that we can close Millbrook by 3 PM.

The $25 fee includes admission, hot cocoa, soup, warm shed, brisk weather, great visibility, no thermocline, and great fun. Come join us!

Why would anyone dive during the coldest months of the year?

• You get the lake entirely to yourselves
• Visibility often exceeds 40 feet

• There is no thermocline (it's all brisk!)
• You can brag that you went diving this Winter without flying to the Caribbean

• You're diving while others are at home dreaming
• You get to enjoy the company of fellow underwater explorers whose level of sanity is every bit as questionable as you own!

Need rental equipment? We can help. If you've not yet rented equipment from "The" Dive Shop, stop by earlier in the week so that we can size you correctly. Once we have your size information on file, you can make rental arrangements over the phone. Pre-registration is required; please call or stop by "The" Dive Shop.
