Why learn to dive, or continue your education, with "The" Dive Shop?
Because we offer our customers a flexible, convenient, and fully up to
date training experience. And when our student divers complete their
training, they have learned how people actually dive today -- not
techniques that were out of date a decade ago. That's "The" Dive Shop
difference. Flexible Training Schedules: We know that it can be
hard to carve out the time to attend a Scuba Diving class, and that's
why we offer four different schedules:
Technology: A key difference in our training program is that
we incorporate the technology of today into our courses, making them
both more effective and more fun. We use state of the art Dive Computers
for all of our training -- why teach you to dive using
antiquated, paper based dive tables, when modern dive computers are
easier, more flexible, and more effective?
Likewise, in our classes we teach you to dive using wet suits,
because that is you will need for your Open Water dives. And we use
modern Weight Integrated BCDs, not old-style weight belts for our
training. Our courses are designed so that you will be training on the
same gear as you will use for Open Water, because that is simply a
better way for students to learn. Not every shop does this, but it's
"The" Dive Shop way.
Focused Attention: We maintain a low student to instructor
ratio, and use a curriculum that encourages interaction between our
instructors and students. In our classes you will have a highly skilled,
experienced instructor who actually teaches the course, rather than
someone who simply runs a projector and tells you what you already read
in a text book.
